The lake is dominated by stunted yellow perch. Very small bait and hooks will catch these fish. Yellow perch fishing should be slow.‌

Water temperatures are near freezing. Fishing for warmwater fish is slowing as water temperatures drop. Surprisingly a few crappie are being caught from the lake. Bass fishing should be slow around all the wood and docks along the lake. ‌
