The Miami River gets a run of wild winter steelhead (catch-and-release only for wilds). There should be some showing up and numbers will increase as the month goes on. Access is limited on the Miami so be sure you have a place to go before heading out to this basin. The steelhead run on Miami will peak January through March. Like the Kilchis the Miami drops and clears faster than large rivers, but it is unclear whether or not it will be in decent shape this week.
