The current flow is 7,900 cfs and the average river temperature is about 46 F.
The Rogue is currently a little off color but expect it to start clearing and dropping after the rain event forecast for later this week. Conditions in the Grants Pass area should be great next week but are fishable now especially for bank anglers. Pulling plugs or plunking are classic techniques that can get you into a fish. Target eddy and current seams and travel lanes on the inside corners to find migrating steelhead. Expect the river to stay high for the foreseeable future but water clarity isn't terrible and winter steelhead are around with more on the way.
Current flow, temp and turbidity conditions for the Rogue can be found at the USGS stream gauges here, or checking the City of Grants Pass water page's river data here.
