The Upper Deschutes has been fishing well. Nymphing has been the best method for all times of the day and jig leeches, duracells, pheasant tails, hares eares and psycho princes have been some of our favorites. Utilizing tungsten bead nymphs or adding a small split shot or two to get your nymphs down quickly is a good idea. Keep an eye out for Green Drakes as we have heard good reports of them out there and fish keying in. Golden stones are around as well. Throwing streamers around some of the deep undercut banks and downed timber is always an exciting way to try and get a grab up there. Don't forget your bug spray!
