Fishing in Ash Camp through the Conservancy continues to be very good despite the lower visibility. It remains at least three feet, so you can hook fish right at your feet. Best flies remain Olive Hotspots, Sweet Peas, and Frenchies. Golden Stones are definitely something you should put in your box below the lake. Rogue Golden Stones, Stimulators or a Chubby Chernobyl would be good flies to fish towards dark, fish the glassy sides of the river with your big dries. For dries, keep an assortment of sizes from #12 -18 in Adams as you may encounter various Mayflies hatching towards dark, and the Goldens will be ovipositing then as well. To reserve a day with one of our expert guides to experience one of the most picturesque streams in the north state, call Chris or Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474.

Hot Flies:

• Sweet Pea - #16/
• Copper John Red - #16/
• Jigged Birds Nest - Natural, Hot Spot #14-16
