Water levels have dropped with irrigation season but will begin to refill this fall. Anglers are still able to launch boats, despite the lowered levels. Fishing slowed considerably in August with the warmer weather and water temperatures. Anglers were having success on largemouth bass using soft plastics. With the cooler weather last weekend, the trout fishing may begin to improve as the fish move into the shallows early and late in the day to forage.
