The East is running at about 112 cfs right now and in the water downstream from the Highway 182 bridge is fishing very well. We’ve had lots of good reports from both the lower California sections and the Nevada sections. Lots of good nymphing reports as well as some dry and dry/dropper reports and the streamer action seems to be picking up as well. There are lots of nice fish being caught with some taping upwards of 22”. The upper mile section is still pretty quiet but hopefully over the next few months and during the Winter there will be some fish move back up there as the water clarity gets better. Some patterns to try: rainbow warrior, zebra midge, perdigon, picky eater, darth baetis, san juan worm, squirmy wormy, dead drift crayfish, sculpzilla, naked chubby, madam X.
