  • Update 9/30 1:00 PM: The Polaris Surpeme currently has 105 Bluefin tuna weighing between 40 to 100 pounds on their 3 Day trip. Captain Aliyar reported that 40# flyline and 250 to 300 gram sk jigs were working the best.

  • The Aztec returned from their 1.5 Day trip this morning with 46(limits) Bluefin tuna for their 23 anglers. The Aztec still has space on their Overnight and 2 Day trips throughout October.

  • The Highliner wrapped up their 2 Day trip with 54 Bluefin for their 21 anglers. A majority of their fish were in the 60 to 120 pound range!

  • The Pacifica also returned this morning from their 2.5 Day trip with 53 Bluefin for their group of 30 anglers.

  • The San Diego finished up their Coronado Islands trip with 4 Yellowtail, 165(limits) Whitefish, 45 rockfish, 20 Sculpin, 6 Calico bass and a Ling cod for 33 anglers.

  • The New Seaforth AM Half Day had another great morning of rockfish returning with 94 Vermilion rockfish and 100 released, 88 assorted rockfish, 7 Whitefish and 12 Sculpin for their 48 anglers. The PM ended the day with 57 assorted rockfish, 66(limits) Vermilion rockfish, 6 Whitefish and 5 Sculpin for 33 anglers. We have plenty of openings for tomorrow's PM trip!

Sunday Updates Update 3:30 PM: The Polaris Surpeme is now up to 60 Bluefin weighing between 40 to 100 pounds on their 3 Day trip. Captain Aliyar reported that 40# flyline and 250 to 300 gram sk jigs were working the best. The Aztec reported in from their 1.5 Day trip with 46 Bluefin(limits) on the boat. The fish are in the 20-90 pound range, and being caught on 25 to 30 pound flyline rigs and #2 circle hooks. The Polaris Supreme finished up their 3 Day trip with 122 Bluefin up to 80 pounds. Captian Aliyar recommends 30-40# Fly line setups with #2 and #4 circle hooks.
