Fishing Report & Conditions: Fair

Fishing has been better elsewhere and the guides have been avoiding the driving conditions. If you want to fish it, go now as water levels are dropping quickly. Fishing has improved with a good mixture of hatches. The mornings are seeing Midges, Caddis, small Golden Stones, and Yellow Sallies. Remember access is limited to Saturday and Sunday with minimal services.

Owens River - Section 3 - Upper (above Crowley): Despite all odds, the Tricos are still going strong
Hot Creek: So much for the hatches slowing down - they seem to be getting stronger, not weaker
East Walker River (CA): Below the 182 bridge is fishing okay
Owens River - Lower: The flows are dropping but no reports have been received yet

Owens River - Section 3 - Upper (above Crowley):  The crowds have gone to the normal fall pattern
Hot Creek: Reports indicate that the hatches are slowing down and the surface activity is slowing down too
East Walker River (CA): East Walker River Report
Owens River - Lower: Flows are just above 600 CFS and reports are fairly nonexistent
San Joaquin River-Middle Fork:  Fishing has improved with a good mixture of hatche
