The Crooked River flow is now above 900 cfs, and has held steady for the past 5 days making it a perfect time to get out there. If you go, try Firestarter perdigons, BWO perdigons, and scuds in tan, orange, or green. Play with your depth and weight, and you'll find fish in the deeper pools and runs. While dry fly action is slowing down, nymphing is still productive. The Crooked is shaping up to be a solid winter fishery with plenty of open water and hungry fish.
