The Salmonfly hatch is underway and gaining momentum. Fish are keyed in on the big bugs, especially in the Warm Springs to Trout Creek stretch. Chubby Chernobyls are doing work on top, and pairing them with a dropper is a solid option when surface action slows. PMDs and Green Drakes are all coming into play depending on the day, and #14–16 Tan Caddis will stay relevant well into summer.

Nymphing remains reliable with Tan Caddis Pupa, Brown Perdigons, Soft Hackle PTs, and 2-Bit Hookers all producing. Whether you’re running an indicator or tight-lining, a solid drift near structure should get you into fish.
