Fishing has been a little tough

The flows have bounced around a little bit this past week on the EW and are now in the 135cfs range again. It sounds like the fishing has been a little tough for most anglers during the middle of the day but there’s been some very good action early in the morning and late in the evening. Sounds like if you’re on the water before 10 or 11 in the morning then again after 5 or 6 in the evening that will be your best bet to get into some fish. In the morning it’s been good with streamers and small nymphs and in the evening it’s been good with caddis dries as well as some nymphing. Some patterns to consider: sculpzilla, dead drift crayfish, ziwi, z-wing caddis, buckskin caddis, rainbow warrior, flashback emerger, zebra midge, elk hair caddis, E/C caddis.
