East Lake is firing on all cylinders. Callibaetis hatches are strong through mid-morning into early afternoon, with another surge at dusk. Under the surface, indicator rigs fishing balanced leeches, Callibaetis nymphs, Red PTs, Damsel nymphs, and Scuds remain reliable. When the wind lays calm, topwater eaters are in play—think adult Damsels and Blue Chubbies skittering along the edges. Mornings also offer good midge action with fine, light-tippet drifts.
