Report: The storm over Christmas added quite a bit of flow and blew the river out. It is on the drop at the lake and the clarity looks fishable down there, it should be in decent shape up top by Ash Camp. Most fish will fall to the small black offerings. Keep on your toes over this weekend as we have more storms on the way. The overall winner was a dark BP Weiss nymph. Small, black nymphs would be the go-to method with good clarity this time of year, #18-20 Zebra Midges, X-Mays, and Perdigons will work best. Fishing tailouts with streamers like Barr's olive or black Slumpbuster or your favorite Sculpin will produce. Streamers can net a big Brown. To reserve a day with one of our expert guides to experience one of the most picturesque streams in the north state, call Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474.
