Hi Everyone The Amigo with Captain Mike Thompson has just been scheduled to run an open party overnight trip leaving this Weds (May 2) at 10 pm fishing Thursday (May 3).?? This trip is limited to only 16 anglers at $175.?? The yellowtail have been biting pretty consistently at San Clemente Island and this weekday trip should do well (Capt Mike asked us to put this one on as things look good).?? I think this will be the trip to be on for this week.?? If you can make it, make sure to give us a call as we just scheduled this trip today, Tuesday (May 1) 3:30 PM.?? The Aggressor has 2 open party overnight trips, the first leaving Thursday to fish Friday (May 4).?? Limited to 20 anglers at $140.?? Their open party overnight trip yesterday had 10 yellowtail and all around pretty good fishing.?? The Aggressor also has what may be the last Friday for Saturday open party overnight trip (private charters make Saturdays very limited) for the season leaving this Friday at 10 pm fishing Saturday (May 5).?? This trip is limited to 20 anglers at $165.?? Both trips will more than likely be targeting San Clemente Island for yellowtail (white sea bass are biting at Catalina, but San Clemente seems to offer more numbers of quality and quantity of fish).

The Ultra has an open party overnight leaving this Thursday at 9pm fishing Friday May 4.?? Limited to 8 anglers at $220.?? They might fish the white sea bass bite (we recommend ??30/40 pound test).??

The Patriot will be running open party ?? day trips for the rest of this week and both Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6.?? Catalina Island is on the verge of really getting going for calico bass, barracuda, and bonito and there have been schools of larger bonito seen moving in.?? Yellowtail fishing may be in store as well. ??Conditions are looking like overall fishing at Catalina will really take off any day.
