The California side of the EW is closed for Winter, just the Nevada side is open now. The East is running at about 109 cfs today and we've been getting some very good reports from down here. It sounds like the streamer action has picked up considerably and the nymphing is still doing well. We've had reports of anglers getting into anywhere from 5 to 15 fish per day with some fish taping all the way to around 26"! The California side of the EW opens this coming Saturday and we're excited to see how it fishes as well. Some patterns to try in Nevada: dead drift crayfish, ziwi, double bunny, dali lama, hell razor craw, mountain lobster, squirmy wormy, San Juan worm, jig head worm, zebra midge, darth baetis, hare's ear, pheasant tail, copper John.
