The American Angler returned February 6 from the Sport Chalet 16 day trip, with a full load of big fish. The holes were full with 26 tuna over 200-pounds. The Angler released many cows throughout this coastal trip. Rocky Opliger had four of the beasts; 256, 233, 218 and a 204-pound tuna. The American Angler sends thanks to their terrific sponsor, Brad Le Moine.

Ken Kouchi, of Huntington Beach, took first place with a 290-pound tuna. Bill Randall, of Foothill Ranch, was second with a 280-pound tuna, and Richard Tanaka of Ontario was third with a 267-pound yellowfin.
