Dorado continue to be the dominant action fish for the Cabo area and most of the boats are averaging 2-4 dorado per day fished with most of the action coming from the Pacific side of Cabo. The striper action increased slightly this past week but still, it's below the historic annual averages for November and everyone is beginning to wonder if the big schools of stripers will show up this year. While there are more stripers showing that in weeks gone by, they sure don't have much interest in chewing on the bait being presented. High billfish boatt for the week was the "Gaviota IV", with Captain Octavio Castillo, producing 6 stripers released for 4 days fished. Overall catches for a combined total of 38 days fished reflected 20 stripers, (18 released) 2 sailfish released, 7 wahoo, 29 yellowfin tuna, 2 roosterfish and 114 dorado.

Cabo Climate: Warm, mostly sunny days and cool nights, with temps from 62 nights to 80 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Pacific side, from the Finger Bank to Cristobal Ridge holding at 76 degrees with a temp break to 78 from Cristobal to Cabo. Rising to 79-80 from Cabo to Gorda Banks. Mostly light surface breezes and very fishable conditions throughout the area.

Best Fishing Area: On the Pacific side from Cristobal to Migrino and on a line from Cabo Falso to the Golden Gate Bank.

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait was best for the billfish but hard to get them to bite on anything.

Live Bait Supply: So far, even during the pending full moon, the bait supply has not been a problem.
