HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM LAKE CUYAMACA

Our hours have changed. In January the Lake has waterfowl hunting every Wednesday, all day and on Sunday morning. That means we are closed all day on Wednesdays and do not open for fishing on Sundays until 10:00 am. The tackle shop opens at 8 am on weekdays and at 6:00 am on Saturday.

On Wednesday, 4 mallards, 1 Bufflehead and 1 Merganser were taken. There are still a few slots available for one day hunting. The cost is $75.00 for a one day hunt. Please call the district office at 619-447-8123 and ask for Georgia.

We had a little rain on Wednesday. Today is sunny, with a breeze from the east and cool. The trout are still biting.
