Notables:
Kathy Hartog of Menifee caught 5 trout, the largest 4.6 pounds, using a night crawler at Lone Pine.
Jared Sawa of Indio caught 4 trout, that largest 3.5 pounds using a nightcrawler and marshmallow at Chambers Park.
Tom Gill of Vista caught 5 catfish, averaging 2 pounds each, in the center of the Lake.
On Thursday, a couple caught 7 trout at Lone Pine using night crawlers.
RANGER CHARLIE WILL TEACH A FREE FISHING CLASS EVERY SATURDAY AT THE LAUNCH RAMP AT 10:00 AM
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS AND MOTORS BEFORE A LAUNCH. Also, float tubes and waders must be washed down before using the Lake. There is a fee for the wash down.
