http://www.virginialakesresort.comWeather took a downturn and we got 3 days of snow starting last Sunday followed by clouds for 2 days and temps now have been running 48 to 54 degrees. Afternoons have warmed nicely giving anglers some relief from the cold, but it hasn't bothered everyone especially the fish. DFG is still stocking weekly, and the fishing has been great. Backcountry fishing is still great with small dries over an nymph, but the fall colors have taken a dive due to the snow and wind. Aspens are blowing off some of the trees along the Virginia Lakes Road except for the protected areas.

Sunday: Rained overnight with some clearing.
Monday::Rained from 2am on Conway Summit, snowed at the lakes all day dropping about 4".
Tuesday: Snowed most of the day, some clearing early evening, very cold.
Wednesday: Snowed lightly with some clearing around.
Thursday: Some high clouds.
Friday: Clearing with a few scattered high clouds (now I'm sounding like The Weather Channel..
