Long rangers on a roll, enjoy the show

The big fish will keep on rolling through the docks the next few weeks, so you might want to check the schedules here on SFR and head down and watch a long ranger unload its catch if you haven't enjoyed that spectacle before.

Because of security and the fact the boats are usually headed right back out, you won't be able to actually give the boats a look, but you can see the fish and talk to the anglers who just got back and those headed out.

Nothing like the stories from the guys fresh off the boat and I'm sure the anglers who scored the jackpot on the Shogun with the monster wahoo pictured here each had a memory or two to share.

The latest reports from the Independence said they were in on some good Ridge yellowtail fishing after everyone on the boat scored a tuna over 150 pounds. I'm sure there are some stoked folks on that boat who have a story or two. Its great when the stories aren't all about the one that got away.

If you ever want to share a photo or a story, you can reach me at SFR through my e-mail address: rich@sportfishingreport.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
