This catch is a potential world record pending IGFA certification and is a historic catch in its own right in the fact that is the first 400lb. plus tuna to be weight dockside in San Diego on Point Loma Sportfishing's certified scales. The official weight of 405.2 lbs. was met with cheers, champagne, and congratulations all around. We have two half day trips scheduled for Sunday aboard the "Point Loma". The morning trip departs at 6:30 a.m. and the afternoon trip will depart at 1:00 p.m. We also have the 3/4 day boat "Mission Belle" scheduled to fishing the Coronado Islands tomorrow. The Rockfish fishing remains steady on both the 1/2 day & 3/4 day trips! We will also start our 1.5 day Baja coastal/Colnett trips on the Grande on Friday January 7th. Please call our office......
