SLOW DOWN (021911)!!! The morning bite started about 30 seconds after Frank said we were going to move. There were not too many lucky anglers participating but there were some great fish landed. Brad Hall and the ever hooked up Francois were wrapped and tangled together for quite awhile very near the anchor rope. They didn't know it at the time, but between them, they had close to 480 pounds of Tuna hooked. They both eventually got their fish. Francois's was a 234 pounder (that's right, count them, it's his third fish over two on the boat!) and Brad's was a 243 pounder that dwarfed his personal best (a 164 caught only yesterday). Brad's fish was the firs 200 pounder to hit the deck today, and it earned him an Accurate reel. The ladies athletic team scored again when Allison landed an estimated 160 hooked about 20 feet from the boat, and over powered in about 10 minutes. Now as for the rest of the day... If I knew how, I would sugar coat it as heavy as Anthony's and Brett's Cinnamon buns this morning, but the sad truth is we looked hard all day, found a few, and caught almost nothing. Only 3 Tuna were landed after the morning flurry for a total of 11 Tuna for the day. Congratulations to Claude and Brad, the rest of us will hope that tomorrow is our day. POEM FOR THE DAY: I hooked a Tuna off shore He pulled hard, but I pulled more But I set him free When he pleaded to me
