The Canadian geese have already chosen their nesting places aroung the lake. The turkey toms are in the meadows strutting and gobbling and the deer are shedding to their summer fawn coats. In other words now is a great time to come up and watch wildlife and daffodils.
Mt. Lassen brought us 1,000 lbs. of trophy trout on Thursday and the fishing has been excellent.
