http://www.sportfishingreport.comThe exotics are making a show at our Channel Islands, it's time to go fishing! With the recent bite picking up, I jumped on board Channel Islands Sportfishing's Pacific Islander with Paul Munowitch at the helm. We had a lumpy ride out, and were greeted with some strong wind, however we reached our destination, made our squid, and took a whack at some quality White Seabass and a huge Barn Door Halibut! The grey light bite never happened, however we made a few drifts seeing some very promising signs on the sonar. Captain Paul was persistent and adamant about putting his anglers on these fish before we loaded our sacks with Rockfish. That's exactly what we did. We scratched away at some really nice grade fish, then we loaded the sacks with some quality Vermillions! A great time was had by all and the bite is just getting started. Quit seeing pictures of these fish and run out and get your own! They're extremely good on the grill. First step, call Channel Islands Sportfishing now at 805-382-1612, next step, have a blast!
