Jay Blaylock was fishing for Bass at the South End when he hooked into a record setting Catfish. The Cat weighed 32.5 lbs and was caught on a Huddleston swim bait. Congratulations Jay! The DFG brought in 1,000 lbs. of trout this week and we are expecting 1,200 lbs. from Mt Lassen next week. The transfer pump is on and transferring water from the East Lake so fishing the Pump House Cove is the best right now. There is a free fishing class every Saturday at 10:00 AM at the launch ramp. Please tell the ranger at the tackleshop that you want to attend. ......
