The wahoo fishing is still good down here in the lower zone. Most of the skinnies are coming on live bait with a few still falling for the bombs and jigs. A little bit better sign of tuna for us today for us as well. The tuna seem to be all mixed up in size from 80-200+ pounds. Heartbreak of the day has to go to Pat Gallagher. Pat hooked an estimated 230 pounder on the kite and lost the fish after a courageous gaff attempt by the crew. It was one of those mean ones that was still swimming upright when it got to the boat and just was not ready to be taken.

Hello Anglers, We arrived to the lower zone just after breakfast this morning and it didn't take long before the wahoo found us and bit full speed until lunch. After finishing off our daily limit, we spent the afternoon looking for big tuna with just a little bit of success. I can't say that I see a whole lot of tuna here right now but we still have tons of time left in our trip to get them located. We will......

Hello Anglers, We are still just cruising down the line on our way to the grounds. Most of the anglers on board are taking advantage of the comfortable ride down to just relax and catch up on rest. Yesterdays seminar was based more on wahoo fishing and wahoo safety. As for this mornings seminar, it was mainly focused on outfits to have ready for big tuna. Hopefully the guys get to put all of this knowledge to good use. Tomorrow will......
