https://www.redrooster3.comYesterday all the action was in the morning. After 2 PM the bite was over. The tuna were found under "birds". We would slide up on a school and try our luck. Sometimes no biters and sometimes as many as 8 going on a stop. We landed 11 yesterday most of the tuna are 125 to 160 lb. size. Today has improved as we had our best hit at 4 PM and we have 40 fish for the day. Most of the fish in the same size class as yesterday. Bob Cherry won an Accurate Boss 665 Reel for his big fish today. After an epic battle which included a skiff ride, Bob landed a tuna which we estimate to be 256 lbs. We have one more day fishing 6 miles outside the islands.

We had another great day on the wahoo. Final total was 75 for the day. Tuna fishing continues slow with 5 tuna landed. Bob Rubalcabo was hot landing a 216lb. and 180 lb. So far this morning we have 17 more wahoo and 2 tuna. Bob Cherry landed a 180 lb. fish but the sign of tuna that had been around has gone. With the weather continuing to improve and 3 days left of fishing time......

Well yesterday was a wahoo of a day. By nightfall 120 of those speedy critters we landed. The Tuna are here but they are not co-operating. One small fish about 100 lbs. was landed and there is good sign of the bigger fish but they just don't want to bite. This morning we had another bunch of wahoo and 2 tuna, a 100 lb. fish and one of those better grade that has been swimming around the bank.......
