Hello Anglers, We departed yesterday on our Big Al Tuna Tourney 8-day. This year, Al and his son Jason, brain stormed to come up with a way to fill the eight remaining spots on their trip. They contacted the Purple Heart Foundation and offered the trip to several soldiers that were wounded in either Iraq or Afghanistan. The word spread quickly and donations came pouring in to take these soldiers fishing. Mr. Poole also donated as well as many tackle manufacturers and web sites including Eagle Claw, Owner, Pelagic, Salas, and Bloody Decks. Thanks to Carl from Bloody Decks for donating t-shirts to everyone on the trip. Big Al would like to thank all of his friends and associates for the generous donations to make this trip possible. Today we are offshore and have already had a couple of nice stops on dorado and tuna. The weather is flat calm. JUSTIN
