Hello Anglers, The big ones finally showed up for us and decided to bite. Lee Erlendson started it off with a 260lbs. tuna caught on a fly-lined mackerel. Diane Chambers and Ken Bell followed with a pair of 225lbs. tunas. We landed nine others from 120-180 and about 60 school sized fish from 40-80lbs. There were a couple of real heartbreaks though; John Chambers lost an estimated 290lbs. tuna right at gaff after a three and a half hour skiff ride. Jerry Brown had the biggest upset after losing an estimated 350lbs. tuna ten feet from the boat. The positive thing about it is that these giant tuna are still around and you have a chance at hooking one at any time. We have six more days down here and it looks like the weather is going to be favorable. Wish us luck.... JUSTIN
