Hello Anglers,
We started our trip of fishing albacore out west. Our day got off to a great start as we stopped on a school in the dark that we were able to pick at for a few hours. Just as that school dried up we drifted by a kelp patty for a few dorado and 30 nice yellowtail. As the sun got higher the albacore came up with it and we began to see numerous spots of fish boiling on the surface. Unfortunately we couldn't get them off the bait they we on but we were able to put together a nice day. We finshed the day with 100+ albacore, 100+ yellowtail and a few dorado. With the amount of fish in the area and beautiful weather we are going to give it another morning before we start heading down to the islands. -Justin

We tagged 10 dorado to 28 pounds and some small tuna and yellowtail. We are going to try our hand at the big island tomorrow in hopes that we have good timing on the nicer tuna. Shawn and the crew ......
