The run-off is minimal this spring and the River is already fishing well. There are a couple of tributaries that are flowing pretty hard and the lower river is a little high. From Boca Bridge upstream to Tahoe City the Truckee is perfect. Czech nymphing has been very effective and there has even been some dry fly activity. March Brown's, Grey Drake's and Baetis can all be found right now. There are lots of Green Drake nymphs in the River. Hopefully we will see a good hatch the first couple of weeks in June.
