http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, Today was one of those days that all of us onboard will remember for quite some time. First of all the weather today was flat calm, and in that flat calm weather we had some pretty fun fishing on 28 to 45 pound albacore with a few bluefin from 30 to 55 pounds mixed in. We had three main stops today and the fish would boil in the circle, then just sit under the boat for times up to 20 minutes before we would hook one. When they decided to bite it was game on, cast your bait on heavy tackle in the corner and hang on. The albacore would bite like this for fifteen minutes then we would just keep one going at a time before they would come back through and everybody would have one on. The part of our day that we will remember is that right before dark we had a sonar mark and we stopped on it with about 20 minutes of daylight left. These albacore were really putting on a show and they kept us very busy until almost 9:30. They were biting in the dark as fast as the passengers could get a bait in the water/ It was the fist time I had seen the albies bite that far into the dark. Tomorrow we are going to try our luck with the bigger Bluefin that we saw the other day and hopefully we can catch a few trophies for our efforts. Shawn and the crew
