http://www.tributesportfishing.comHello Anglers, Today we fished Guadalupe for the bigger Yellowfin, and we found bigger Yellowfin. Starting off first thing in the morning we had a mixed grade of fish, they ranged from 30 to 100 pounds. We hooked quite a few of the larger fish on 40 pound test, and well, let's just say that the hook to land ratio wasn't all that great. Some of the fish hooked on 40 and 50 pound line took over an hour to land. And as you can see from the pictures below, an hour of pulling on these things can really ware you out. We were also fortunate enough to get the fish to bite right until the dinner call was made. Also thrown in to the mix were half a dozen Yellowtail to 30 pounds, and one Black Sea Bass released (estimated at 85 pounds). We are going to try and catch some bigger bait tonight, and see if we can't hook the bigger fish on some heavier gear, like 60 and 80 pound. I hope you guy's are getting your Christmas shopping taken care of, I know I will be finishing mine up on Christmas Eve. See you at the Mall. Happy Holiday's to all. Mike Pritchard
