http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, Today we had absolutely beautiful weather, no wind and a sunny warm day. We concentrated on albacore today but it did not take very long to get what we needed before we had to leave the albacore biting. It was a pretty impressive sight to see hundreds of albacore in the water swimming around the boat with there wings out like a bunch of airplanes in the air. We had them eating the heavy line five feet from the boat, by far the best fishing we have seen yet this year. The rest of the day we spent fishing for bluefin and yellowtail. After driving through spot after spot of albacore we finally saw a spot of bluefin that was up jumping around. We picked up 15 bluefin from 25 to 40 pounds and then they disappeared shortly after we stopped. There was plenty of yellowtail on the kelps we found floating but there was not to many keeper sized yellows on them. A surprise for us today was pulling up on a breezer of Dorado. There was a fair amount of fish around but they were not very cooperative so we only picked up 10 of them. The picture down below is of Brandon Hayward with a Dorado he caught on a flylined sardine.Tomorrow we are going to be trying for bluefin al day so wish us luck. Reported by: Shawn Steward
