http://www.pacificqueensportfishing.comWith the quantity of Blue Fin Tuna in the area we have decided to be a definite go starting tomorrow on our next three trips. We had a nice day out on the water on Saturday picking up 13 BFT. Although our count wasn't very high there was no lack of opportunity. Everyone had a shot at catching one of these beauties. The fish ranged in size from 25 to 40lbs. with some bigger ones mixed in.. These fish are no easy catch. When sliding in on spots of breaking fish 30 and 40lb. test where the preferred outfit. These are big tough fish and very hard to land on 25lb. So don't forget to bring your heavy gear.
If and when we are able to get these fish to stick around the boat a lighter outfit, i.e. 25lb, might come in handy in getting bit. A short flourocarbon leader should definitely be part of your set up. There are lot of fish around and when they finally settle in and decide to bite we are going to be in for some incredible fishing. Don't get caught at home when these fish decide to bite. Call Fisherman's Landing and book your next trip aboard the Pacific Queen!

Bill Cavanaugh called in to say that the Pacific Queen will have 2 day and one-half day trips this week for Bluefin. The first leaves on Wednesday, fishing Thursday and the second leaves Friday fishing Saturday. The conditions are right for the fishing to improve and they want to be there when the fish decide they are hungry. Give Fisherman's Landing a call if you think you want to go (619) 221-8500.......
