http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comReports are not consistant here. The fishing has been changing on what seems to be a daily basis and it is really hard to give an accurate report. You can talk to 5 different people and get 5 different answers right now.
What we have is a sporadic Damsel hatch that does not happen every day. Callabaetis have been hatching and occasionally there have been some really good Blood Midge hatches coming off in the afternoons. The anglers that are doing the best are sticking with it and trying different methods until they figure it out.
The fish seem to be hanging out in 5 to 12 feet of water. The shallow water is a little warm in the afternoons which is normal for summer months at Davis.
