Good Fishing at the Virginias

As usual the Virginias are doing well. Tubing seems to be the best bet with either flies or lures. Bait anglers are also doing well from the shore or tubes. Panther martins, kastmasters and hot shots are good, crawlers and power bait are scoring lots of fish and for flies go with small streamers with a soft hackle dropper or beetles and ants on top.

East Walker River Sceirine Ranch: The Ranch is fishing very well with the lower flows
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Is Working for Fly Fishermen and for Bait Fishermen & Trollers
Kirman Lake: Kirman is seeing a lot of 16 inch Trout, some are pushing 5 lbs.
Twin Lakes (Bridgeport): Twin Lakes is good for one-half pound to 3 pound fish

East Walker River (CA): The East is running at about 270 cfs today and is fishing excellent!
East Walker River (CA): Flows on the West Walker are down to the 550 cfs range. We're getting some very good reports.
