"What a beautiful day!" said the Royal Polaris report August 8. "Sunshine and flat calm seas. Fishing was also quite delightful. We landed over 100 Yellowfin today. Half of them were 10 to 20 pounds and the other half 50 to 90 pounds. We also had some serious losses to the tax collector (Sharks). In addition to the tuna we had about 25 Yellowtail, 2 Dorado and 13 Wahoo. As you can see in the pictures the Wahoo were of excellent grade.
