EXCELLENT DAY OF YELLOWTAIL (090411)!!! Hello everyone; Only one way to put it, OUTSTANDING!!!! We had an outstanding day of Yellowtail fishing. Most of the fish were in the 18 to 25 pound range, with a few going over 30. It was limits for all aboard. We arrived to our destination around 11:00 hours, and it didn't take long for the boat to go bendo. It was some of the best Yellowtail fishing I've seen in a long time. After 3 hours of Yellowtail fishing, we pulled our anchor and moved offshore looking for kelps. We had no luck finding a kelp that was holding. We made a move to another high sport, dropped our anchor and tried for some Grouper, but with the lack of current, the Grouper didn't give us much of a fight. We are now anchored down for the night, and we did catch a few more Yellowtail and some Dorado in the early morning hours. So we will see what tomorrow will bring, until then wish us luck.
