http://www.pacificdawn.comBill Cavanaugh called in to give an update on the Pacific Queen's current day and one-half trip, "We are having a great day fishing, actually we are just wrapp'n up our best stop here. We got on a school of Yellowfin tuna that did good for us. We got 132 Yellowfin on this stop, all out of one stop. We had 3 Yellowfin tuna before this so that brings us up to our Mexican limits for the day. We have limits of Yellowfin tuna on board, we have 42 Yellowtail and a dozen Dorado. We are having a great day, we have beautiful weather. I just wanted to check in with all that.
"We have a couple of trips coming up where we have space available. We have a Day and one-half departing Wednesday fishing Thursday. We have a One day trip departing Tuesday night fishing Wednesday. If you want to get on one of those trips or any other trips aboard the Pacific Queen you can give Fisherman's Landing a call at (619) 221-8500 or you can book one line at Fisherman's Landing.
"We are going to be up at Avila Beach the beginning of October. So check in on that too. There has not been a whole lot of information flying around on the internet about the Albacore up there. But there is a pretty good line of fish up that way. I have a friend of mine that has a small charter boat who fishes out of Monterey and they have been pretty steady at 30 to 40 fish per day for a couple 2 or 3 guys for almost a month now. It seems there is a pretty good line of fish from Davidson all the way down to San Simeon. There is some pretty good Albacore fishing to be had and we are going to get in on it. We are going to be offering it on Patriot Sportfishing in October."
