LINDSEY LEMERT WAS THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER WITH A 3.10 POUND TROUT. OTHER WINNERS WERE ANDREW TREADWAY, PARKER WASSENAR, JEREMY SHIMAMOTO, NAGALISE PUENTZ, RON VOSBURGH, LORENO RODRIGUEZ, JACK SMITH, LOGAN HOWARTER AND ELLA MOLINA.
Fishing has been good all week. The weather has been perfect with temperatures in the 70's and only some wind a couple of afternoons.
Notables: Andrew Eccles caught a 1.51 pound Bass using a silver Kastmaster in Bass Heaven.
Ed Dielman of Menifee caught a 22.5 pound catfish using a night crawler on the West jetty.
DON"T FORGET THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT 10 AM AT THE LAUNCH RAMP.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASHDOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS, MOTORS, CANOES, WADERS, FLOAT TUBES AND KAYAKS BEFORE A LAUNCH. CHECK WITH STAFF IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH IS THE BIG DAY HERE AT THE LAKE THE ORVILLE P. BALL MEMORIAL "FISHIN IN THE PINES" KID'S DERBY WILL BE TAKING PLACE. LOTS OF GOOD TROUT FISHING, FREE LUNCH AND GREAT PRIZES COME ON UP AND SPEND THE DAY IN THE MOUNTAINS. Fishing has been very good this week for those who have taken the time to come to the mountain. The temperatures have been mild and there hasn't been any wind to speak of. Lots of limits coming out.
