The Marina hours are 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the park hours 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Our last plant was 9/20, from Mount Lassen and Fish & Game. Fish & Game was 500 lbs. and Mount Lassen was 750 lbs. of trout. We have seen still some nice size striped bass, catfish and black bass. The water temperature is starting to drop, right now it is 68 degrees at the top of the top of the lake. Most of the anglers have been using a variety of bait; anchovies, sardines, chicken livers and nightcrawlers. This has been working well for catfish, striped bass and black bass. Panther Martins, Rapalas have been working well for trolling. PowerBait, Power Eggs in white, spring green and Chartreuse have been working well for trout, along with mice tails. Bass attractant and trout attractant is always good. Nightcrawlers are a good all around bait for Bass and Catfish along with Trout.

Come on out and try your luck. All fish caught can have its picture taken and added to the Wall of Fame. As always Del Valle is great fishing.
