Trout fishing has been on a day to day basis, although most anglers did have some good action trolling from the surface to 20' with dodger/needlefish combos, or J5 and J7 Rapalas. The narrows was the spot to be after high winds shut down the lake earlier in the week.

Bass fishing really came to life the past 3 days. Both smallmouth and largemouth were taking texas rigs, spinnerbaits, drop shot, jigs and small swimbaits. Sedar flats and the narrows were the best locations with the most fish scattered anywhere fromn 20' to 40'.

Crappie are taking small spinners and mini jigs and fish to 2.5 lbs. are being taken. Once again the narrows was the hot spot for slabs. Only a few catfish were reported, and carp and redear were no-shows.

The next trout plant is scheduled for Dec. 13th from Calaveras.
