http://www.pacificqueensportfishing.comHello Pacific Queen Anglers,
Hopefully everyone is enjoying the new year. We have been very busy getting the boat fish ready. Currently we have the boat hauled out of the water for our Coast Guard inspection. They came down and admired the boat and how well we take care of her. Along with Coast Guard we are doing a bit of painting to improve on the already beautiful sight that she is. We should be back in the water by the end of next week and ready to go fishing.
We have put some rock fish trips online for the upcoming months. These trips will be targeting Mexican rock fish as well as lingcod, yellowtail, and white sea bass. The trips will range from 1.5 to 2.5 days and are very reasonably priced. The first trip on the schedule is an early departure 2.5 day trip leaving the 17th of February at 1p.m. This trip will be targeting the San Martin area.
These trips are always a good time and usually produce some excellent quality bottom fish. So if you guys are looking to get out on the water and fill your freezers call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500 or sign up on our website.
We hope to be seeing you aboard very soon.

Bill Cavanaugh called in to give us this update on the Pacific Queen 1.5 Trip, "We just finished up probably the best Dorado bite I've seen in a number of years. We got on a kelp here that had mixed Yellowtail and Dorado on it. Holy cow these Dorado are giant. They are like 18 to 25 lb. fish. It was a sight to behold, it was pretty impressive to say the least. Nice big Dorado and they were good......
