Pat Cavanaugh called in with an update from the last couple of days. "On Friday we had an 'Open Party' Trip. The weather was a little tough but we were able to fish on the lee side of Santa Rosa and we had a real nice day of fishing.

Today the weather was gorgeous, flat calm. When we got up to San Miguel we had really, really good rockfish and lingcod fishing. I don't really think we could have asked for a better day. We have limits of good quality rockfish and limits of lingcod for 19 guys.

"Things are going good out here we are out on another charter tonight and the weather is gorgeous. We do have a couple spots open on a charter that leaves tomorrow night. If anybody is intderested call Ventura Sportfishing (805) 676-3474. Things are off to a good start here."
