http://www.excelsportfishing.comThe past few days have really made the trip for me. It's always nice to get on a body of fish that wants to bite good and gets everyone involved. Seeing the look of enjoyment on the faces of the anglers is very gratifying for the entire crew. Fishing has been red hot down here on both tuna and wahoo and everyone is doing well. Every morning we get a shot on big ones and today was no exception. The bite started out slow just after daylight but by 0930 it was as good as it gets. Just before lunch we slid the last fish into the RSW well and called it a trip. We picked up a couple more cows to go along with an assortment of mixed grade fish. Colin Sarfeh captured his first cow ever on a salami mackerel going 202.0 on the scale. Al Gross, a first time long ranger, landed a personal best 265.6 pounder after a nice ride in the skiff with Mike Ramirez. Al hooked the fish on a mackerel under a ballon. We are currently headed for Cabo San Lucas to drop off the passengers on the 9th. The Excel will be back to Fishermans Landing on the morning of the 12th to offload this beautiful catch. I want to say thanks again to Accurate Reels and Pelagic for all their hard work and support during this trip.
