http://www.fishingvideos.com"The Tuna wouldn't bite again for us," noted Intrepid skipper Kevin Osborne April 24, "even though they showed themselves all around in many different areas, so we headed to one of our favorite places down here to try for some Amberjacks. The few of us here on the Intrepid for the day caught some good ones. Mike Boshard and Ken Bush both landed their first ever! After the drift fishing slowed down we sent the Kayaks out to the one of many beautiful secluded beaches we consider to be a sportsman's dream. Rooster Fish have been on the chew for a couple of weeks now and today they were at it again, exploding on baits and Poppers. There were several nice Roosters caught on the Poppers today. Jamie, you must have gotten them fired up with all the popping last week!
The snorkeling is the finest around and the skiff fishing for Blue Star Jacks, Snapper, Amber Jacks, and even a couple of 35 lb class Yellowfin was just outstanding this afternoon. Catch and release has been the theme for this group and the sharing of their daily fishing adventures in the galley of this Luxury Long Ranger during the evenings has been a riot. Tonight Chef Paul served us up some fresh Surf & Turf of Lobsters and London Broil backed with his home made Boston Cream Pie. The Conway Family Vineyards and their sponsorship of the Intrepid in the form of some "Deep Sea Reds" put the extra touch to the evenings dinner. Time to join the gang as they relax on the back deck with cocktails and Cigars while enjoying some music from our Soundcast Stereo System provided by Bill McCarty. Oh, I almost forgot about the Sailfish jumping around off the bow and a Lush Green Tropical Island off the stern."
