http://www.excelsportfishing.comToday was one of those occasions where it didn't matter where you were fishing or what boat you were on, you were catching fish. For us, the move payed off big time as we put together an outstanding day on big tuna. The fish ranged from 100-200 pounds with big fish honors going to Tom Payne for his personal best at 203.8 pounds. There was good sign of fish all day today and we hope to keep the ball rolling. Every passenger landed at least one tuna today which was nice, and there were plenty of personal bests to go around. In other news, the boats above us scored big when they found schools of biting bluefin tuna in the 50-100 pound class. There is a great water set up and every boat that was up there not only could see fish, but everyone involved caught fish. Those bluefin are well within range of a five day trip too. If you want to try for those offshore bluefin, yellowfin, and albacore, check out our schedule and get on an early trip while they're here.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619)223-7493 to get in on the action.Report Date:
Although wahoo fishing was outstanding again today, we didn't do very well in the war with the sharks. It truly is a shame to hook so many big tuna just to have the sharks eat them. There was better sign of tuna here today than yesterday but with the obvious obstacle we decided to move on and try another location tomorrow. We still have plenty of time left in our trip and we all know that......
